Mario Natur Sparkling Wine
Very dry sparkling wine, the taste of peeled apples predominates in the mouth, followed by a long aftertaste.
The sparkling wine is pale lemon in color. The bubbles are medium active. Pronounced medium bouquet reminds of flowers, yellow fruit, peeled apples, and somewhat of yeast. Schist, clay and sandstone.
Directly pressed grapes. Spontaneous fermentation without the addition of yeast. Maturation and mixing on fine lees. No filtration. chardonnay (80 %), rumeni plavec (20 %)
Angel Red Grande Cuvée 2019

Ruby ruby ruby. This one is rare and is being produced just in the best years. Well integrated oak and tannins. Red fruits, pepper notes. Full body wine with a bit of chocolate that comes and goes, good complexity.
Cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet franc. The Angel vineyards are 35 years in average and grow on Marl soil, the grapes are manually selected and harvested in the end of September. Skin contact for 18 days, aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 30 months.

This Merlot is soft and rich in the mouth, reflecting the aging in cherry barrels.

This is their first red wine, of which they are very proud since it has recently been known that the origin of the variety is right with us in Štajerska.
Unfortunately, Blaufränkisch has long been undervalued and ill-known, but now it is experiencing a renaissance period, and we are delighted to be a part of it. The wine ferments spontaneously maturing for nine months on fine lees in 500-litre wooden barrels.

Ruby red, almost purple color. Medium-body with soft tannins. Presence of ripe blueberries, black forest fruits with tender white pepper notes.

Merlot Selection 2018

Spectacular red fruits, soft tannins and smoothness. It has intense earthy notes followed by spices.
The Merlot vineyards are between 8, 16, 21 and 50 years old and grow on Marl and Clay, the grapes are hand-harvested in late October. Skin contact for 18 days, aged in Slovenian oak barrels for 24 months.
Rumeni Muškat 2018

Intense yellow color and slightly cloudy. The smell of ripe citrus and tropical fruits is present. It’s pleasantly buttery, rich and juicy.

The wine comes with a medium-body with rich red fruit notes. This Teran has balanced tannins and a gentle spiciness.
