The facts

Unpolished fruity and funky notes. The palate is between tropical and unripe fruits with a stunning acidity which keeps the wine up.

Pinot Noir 2020

"This one will take on a trip of blackberries and medium acidity. Perfect wine for those who like funky red wines."

The facts:

Very intense tender red wine with ruby color. The fragrance is slightly bitter-sweet and fruity, reminiscent of blackcurrant, aronia and sour cherry. 

It is a fun red with pleasant acidity, more on the light side but still smooth with a nice velvety body. Partly as a result of maturing in barrels made of wild cherry wood combined with long maceration.

It is unfiltered, no sulfur added. 

1 year in 225l oak barrels, then 1 year in cherry barrels

Vitovska 2020 Gorjansko

The combination of the red and white grapes creates a light, fruity and funky texture. Mind-blowing acidity. 

  • Created by Žiga Urbajs, Aci’s son, from 1 ha of vineyards
  • Cuvee of indigenous white and red grapes: Krajlevina, Riesling italico, Blaufraenkisch and Žametna Črnina
  • Gently pressed grapes, aged for 12 months in Slovenian oak barrels
  • 12% alc

  • Contains sulphites (just natural from the grapes - no additional sulphites added)

Janko Štekar Rebula Prilo 2017

Rebula Prilo vinified with Ribolla grapes with spontaneous fermentation in steel tank 26 days of maceration on skin, aging 60 months in acacia barrels. No yeast or sulfites added, unfiltered wine.

Zaria NV 18/19/20

The facts

The wine is fresh, rich with fruity notes, some orange peel and citrus. Acidity is refreshing, it is easy and complex at the same time. 

Cuvée of various vintages of indigenous Vipava valley grape varieties: 55% Pinela, 20% Zelen, 14% Rebula, 5% Vitovska, 3% Klarnica, 2% Rumeni Muškat

The Zaria vineyards are 35 years in average and grow on Marl soil, the grapes are hand-picked in the end of September. All varieties are macerated together, spontaneously fermented and aged in Slovenian oak barrels.
